It doesn’t bother you that your ability to hear threats while you’re sleeping is impaired by the earplugs?
We bought a box of ear plugs in anticipation of going to a rock concert a while ago. Trust me; they dim noise not at all. We live too close to a major interstate highway and sometimes I can’t sleep because of the noise. I thought those earplugs would take the edge off. They did not. So I’d never worry about not hearing intruders or threats.
I actually can. The earplugs are to drown out the wife’s snoring. They don’t block everything. I’m good.
