OR, because there is a fair amount of ridiculous stuff in the Q-stream, it could be a hoax meant to distract, confuse, and divide pro-Trump conservatives. But I don’t claim to know one way or the other. I simply think Q’s messages need to be viewed with a considerable amount of distrust and suspicion unless/until fully justified.

You do realize that POTUS does not have to destroy Q right? All he needs is one tweet that says “Qanon is fake news” and it would be over. But, he hasn’t done that has he?

Why do you suppose this hasn’t happened?

Good question, one I also do wonder about. But I don’t think POTUS Trump and the closest circle of his advisers pay any mind to “Q” whatsoever. I could be wrong, of course, but I doubt they are too aware beyond possibly the slightest basic glimmer of what’s going on with “Q” discussions online.... to the extent they may be aware of what’s going on with it all, they may be comfortable with the idea that it is getting people interested and motivated to learn more. I doubt that they would bother to knock it down with even one statement unless it was becoming any huge problem (to the country).

Now, of course, if POTUS Trump suddenly gives an explicit Q-affirming statement of some kind, then everything I have thought about “Q” would be thrown out. But so far, I do not see any reason to accept the idea that Q is some high level insider close to and acting for POTUS Trump.
