Unfortunately, I didn’t really communicate, in that sentence, what I meant. You took it negatively (omg...a pun),which I don’t blame you for. That being said...
Despite what you see on TV and in the movies, attaching jumper cables to a car battery and grabbing the ends of the cables won’t do anything to you. Don’t believe me, then just go out to your car, open the hood, put your hands on the battery terminals.
The main reason you won’t get shocked is due to lack of conductance. If you get both hands really wet , then grab the terminals, you might feel a burning sting. If you use jumper cables, and touch them both to your tongue, you will really feel it. Hence, my original remark involving moist apertures.
This probably won't surprise you, but I have intentionally electrocuted myself hundreds of times.
