Personally, it is a non-issue with me as I couldn’t care less what they make except they make too much these days.

You’ve got that right, although comparing the stunts and keeping in superb physical condition, as many actors today, must, which ain’t cheap -— with most actors in the early 60’s on back, not having to worry about being in perfect physical condition, they are more than a little high maintenance. I think back to the days when female “movie stars” had voluptuous, curvy bodies, instead of today’s rail-thin actresses. In those days, the skinny women usually played the shrews, office managers, and old maids.

Katherine Hepburn only ever played "shrews, office managers, and old maids"...REALLY ?

Audrey Hepburn and Goldie Hawn ONLY played those roles too?

And I can easily list other such painfully thin actresses as well, who blow your comment out of the water!

Sure, the late 40s through some of the '60s had voluptuous stars, but that was just a blip in the history of film.

Does anyone do stunts anymore? With the onset of CGI, I thought all of that was a thing of the past with some exceptions. Certainly, you no longer see any of the camaraderie that stars had with stunt men up until the 90s. Of course, George Clooney recently suffered a spinal leak due to some stunt he performed, so who knows and again, who cares.

Personally, I prefer the stars of the 60s who had charisma, talent and beauty if not the Bluto-like bodies so favored by audiences today.
