Hey, isn’t that … former first lady Michelle Obama reporting for duty at the latest fitness craze to land in D.C.?
Mrs. O arrived at Barry’s Bootcamp in Dupont Circle early Wednesday afternoon looking every bit the serious gym buff in a black ball cap and baggy gray sweats. She was there to get down to business, according to our source, who spied Obama entering the studio and hugging a few of the gym’s uber-buff trainers. Two Secret Service officers stood as sentries nearby.
This is the third Michelle sighting at Barry’s, a high-intensity interval training which, according to its website, can burn up to 1,000 calories or more per sweat session. A call to the studio’s rep wasn’t immediately returned for comment, but it appears as if Mrs. Obama, who arrived well after the studio’s only midday class let out, is taking private training classes.
