Dershowitz has been a real foot dragger on arresting anyone.
I hear him on HANNITY always playing the diffuser, always parsing activities or actions in a manner that basically advocates for taking no criminal action against the nefarious.
Mainly, Hillary and Comey. He likes to see bad deeds meet institutional punishments, or disciplines, but kept outside courts, or calling for Special Prosecutors.
His foundation for his opinions is that he is a true Libertarian, and he makes a fair point, believing that we are entering an era where political opinions and political activity is being made criminal. He finds it very dangerous, no matter which side is doing it.
At this point, at public statements by anyone on Trump’s team that is investigation bad guys, I take as Sun Tzu.
If Trump has some use for Dershowitz, then Dersh is doing a good job. If he stops doing a good job or doesn’t work as planned, he’ll be out the door.
True, but he's been a peach on calling out ridiculous liberal claims as ridiculous. I have been repeatedly surprised that he's pretty fair about a lot of things.
For instance, he thought the Cohen searches were appalling.
