To: I want the USA back
From what I've heard of it, the issue is that being exposed to blue light in the evening disturbs your sleep cycle (makes your body think it's daytime), and thus messes up your melatonin levels.

Not levels, but the release.

Failure to get enough real light (full spectrum, including blue) is what lowers levels.
