I can give you my opinion - some of these people are so oppositional, so opposed to any authority other than themselves, that they break every law and commandment that they can find and if it comes down to breaking the most horrid taboos, it simply wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
Absolutely. And throw in even a moderate level of demonization on top of that rebellion ... the horror can multiply exponentially fast.
