Oh yeah, read all of his books. I just finished the Saxxon series in December. Not a lot of time left in my day for reading but I got a library card when I saw my local library had them. GREAT story telling. Fascinating time in English history.
I watched a few episodes of the Uhtred series on TV...couldn’t get into it. It’s on Netflix now and may give it another go. None of the characters matched my imagination. I’ve read the books so many times I felt as if I knew them and these people were strangers.
Have you watched “The Last Kingdom” TV series based on Cromwell’s Saxxon Stories featuring Uhtred of Bebbanburg? Both seasons are on Netflix, and it’s been renewed for a third.
