I’ve seen that film a million times on Lifetime...a little girl is waiting for her ride home from school and is raped by the friendly but simple janitor. During the trial the mother brings a gun and shoots and kills him. His mother has always known about his tendencies and has always protected him...in the end she forgives the mother.
