I had thought the bridge comment
could relate to Cisco oracle Facebook and all the other text companies and how while everyone may not use Facebook the majority of everyone’s web traffic goes thru a Cisco bridge and their logo is the Golden gate bridge.

Agreed, Cisco is closer to “bridge” than Palantir is.

You have to remember 92% of the ruling Left have law degrees and would hate to see their expensive Palantir builds and algorithms invalidated by 4th Amendment suits. Like what’s happening now. They needed to bridge that silly constitutional construct.

In software engineering lingo, a bridge is a two-way interface between different programs that allows easy sharing of data between the programs. I’m not uncomfortable with calling Palantir a bridge, because it may very well be used to shared data between the social network platforms. But it’s also an information aggregator (from social networks and other sources) and an inference engine (to generate additional information that is not explicit in the original data).
