Agreed. Sounds like something OUR media would put out as a cover story, right?

I bet Q will tell us the outcome, when it's known. It might still be up in the air at this moment.

If our guy retains power, he needs to use this (if in fact its a counter coup) as justification to finish off those he let survive.

I’m torn and skeptical of what the real story is. Assume we’ll find out. But the amount of gunfire probably NOT excessive for a place that celebrates by firing in the air, and it has to be an extremely fun release for the guards after all the boredom they experience so I’d think they’d take advantage to have some target practice. That said, I’m still skeptical of the drone theory until we hear more.
