Agree that may have been the Isis that inspired the name and that definition is not unfortunate. Just can’t imagine calling a pet “come here Isis.” Since these days it could be confused with ISIS.

That’s all I meant.

It’s a reasonable name for a dog or cat if you’re a lover of Egyptian ancient history. Most people name pets for something they love. I wouldn’t blink twice at that nickname.
