Have never flow into Vegas at night but even my intructor when I was taking lessons said Vegas at night Vegas was very difficult, all the lights made locating the runway a bitch! He crashed right after takeoff however and bet he stalled. Was overweight plus with the women on board assume he had a lot of luggage in the rear. A small plane that is tail heavy is a disaster waiting to happen! Read that ATC said he barely got it off the ground at the end of the runway and asked if everything was ok? He said yes, was on a training flight.
