AM I reading correctly? California has Coconut Palms but NO coconuts.

Whereas Florida has Coconut Palms with coconuts.

There are a couple of dozen plus types of palm trees. Even several different date palm trees. When in Hawaii we watched as coconuts were removed from some trees on public property. In other locations there were signs: Beware Of Falling Coconuts !

My favorite the yuge Fan Palm or the Palm Fern.
