Students around the country walked out of class on Friday to bring attention to gun violence in the U.S. The walkout also marked the 19th anniversary of the Columbine High School shooting in Littleton, Colorado.

Photos from around the country show students protesting peacefully and making their voices heard, as well as protesting silently outside the White House.

See the latest images from the second round of school walkouts below.

Chalk (get it) another one up for the future brain trust of the USA. Add in the celebs that are bullying one of the oldest civil rights groups in the country and BOOM. Losers. And yes, I realize it's huffpo but we need to keep abreast of what our adversaries are up to. Using kids is a time honored tradition for socialist causes. Not forgetting to mention that it looks like all the dem candidates for gov in NV are going to be anti 2nd amendment assclowns. The usual. Ban ass-salt rifles, bump stocks, silencers, large cap mags, blah, blan, blah.

They don’t probably know that. In fact, since there was apparently no holocaust, they probably don’t even know he existed. They only know Trump supporters are nazis which are really really bad people.

I see they're still going with the "hands up, don't shoot" meme. Weak.

Keep Walking.

Schools have a tremendous task, they should not become whipping posts for these idiot kids.

Kids’ brains aren’t fully developed until they’re about 25 - takes that long for the cerebral cortex, seat of judgment and rationality, to mature - makes them all easy to hoodwink and exploit.....

Until they protest ON THEIR OWN TIME and not on time that gives them an excuse to cut class, their bloviations mean nothing to me.

When they demand that the driving age be raised to 21 - which would save thousands of lives every year - and prevent tens of thousands of injuries every year - I will listen. By comparison, gun violence in schools kills and injures very few. These kids are eager to take a way rights that they don’t value, but will they take away rights that they DO value? Nah.

When they have placards saying “Stop shooting each other”, I’ll listen.

Well, here in P.R.California we have “gun free school zones”.
You know....just put up signs saying ‘gun free zone” and the bad people and nut jobs will not enter.
Because it would be against the law if they did.

It’s the popular Dem Party logic here in Calif.

...now if we could ONLY figure out how we get mass shootings despite our signs...I mean, can’t the bad folks read?

Mystery to Calif Lib types.

🍿🍻😹🇺🇸. Just raise the age for using a cell phone to 21. Talk about wailing, crying and gnashing of teeth. NOW they would be oppressed..

I’d be much more impressed if they gave up their violent video games and rap “music”.

Sounds like the Armed Forces could offer some assistance.

Here in El Paso the students in one middle school were released. Of course they I’m not sure how many ditched the protest. One student tried to make it across the freeway and was killed. Someone is going to own that School District.

THIS should be the rebuttal of ALL our Second Amendment candidates in the upcoming elections.

If the Antigunners argument that young minds are too underdeveloped to own weapons then they are too underdeveloped to drive, vote, sign contracts and even join the military.

Make them defend "children" owning guns to "children" getting an abortion without their parents consent.

Rinse and repeat.

This issue could be a BIG winner unless GOP-E refuses to get with the program
