My point is, if these things are 'raining' down in the numbers some here speculate, doesn't it make sense that someone somewhere would have seen such and connected it to a low boom/rumble some minutes later and reported it and there'd be some buzz?

Depends where the 'attack' is occurring. In NK who is reporting and to whom? In the civilized world same question, but then so what? It is over, blame it on aliens. The aspect and time available to view is very short.
