No, actually I agree with you that if anyone ever deserved to be charged with treason it would be a person who deliberately undertook to destabilize foreign governments, kill foreign heads of state, covertly smuggled arms to islamic fanatics, bragged about it all, and then looked the other way - ESPECIALLY as a US embassy is attacked with several people killed, including the US ambassador, the official representative of our government to that country, and his dead body dragged about like a hunting trophy. Consider the fact that the late ambassador considered himself a close personal friend of the person...

McCabe is a middle management crook who bit off way more than he could chew. I would hope that Rudy would flip him without breaking a sweat and send him away for a few years in return for his testimony against the top crooks.

As vile and morally "treasonous" as whatshername's acts might have been, it's gonna take a slam dunk case to put her where she belongs, IMO, that is UNDER the Supermax or under anything else, for treason. Same goes for anyone else who attained high office, no matter how high, (say a sitting US Senator, or perhaps even higher office, hypothetically) and then used that office to the detriment of the country.

So far as I care anyone who would do something like that can BIH, quite frankly, and sooner rather than later makes me no difference.

Gotta make the case, though in the context of written law, not personal moral outrage. I'm not sure how that would work. I'd love to be proven wrong.
