Well I went to spychiatrics and worked with the criminally insane. So happened there was a serious race riot by "patients." We would have been fired if we fought back. There of us( 12 sheriffs, and etc on the unit besides staff) and it took four years to get disability opension. At one time they DID( staff) three out the race card but nothing stuck

The injuries were gruesome but I still tried working with hairline vertebral cracks, herniated disc( drained it ant cortisone tx) and all the neck, back and other head injuries. One guys leg was kicked so much he almost lost it from internal infection and then gangrene. Other was in a coma and had to drain fluid from his brain with hydrocephalus and other injuries. for three months but healed nicely...race riots. and Racial staff all the way to Sacraments slamming us

I really miss nursing but I can no longer fulfill nursing duties. Maybe someday I'll get to wrok again
