I know quite a few Cuban emigres. These are people who all arrived within the last 10 years. Apparently its widely rumored and suspected among Cubans that Raul is a raging pederast / homosexual.
It makes sense, its all part of the utter and total corruption of tyranny and human rule.
I have heard this guy is a hard-core communist.
Valuable real estate. Can you imagine if Cuba just flung its doors open to capitalism? The place is literally a gold mine.
I think a lot of people in Cuba who are fed up, and probably were too scared to protest while the Castros were in power, are going to test this guy to see how he responds.
I hope they do.
Cuba is a crying shame. They could be the jewel of the Caribbean if they let capitalism run free and ditched the oppressive communism. People would probably flock there.

I have to say, I am extremely concerned about the things we have been seeing about polls of Milennials where something like 40-60% would be fine with socialism...
I don’t like to tar all Millenials, because I know some that are very sensible and thoughtful about these kinds of things, but I think if it is across the board and not just college campuses (which I almost expect) that is worse.
That gives me the willies...that has to be BAD.
The brainwashing of youths is criminal, disturbing and treasonous. Those doing the indoctrination are complicit in wanting the overthrow and destruction of our way of life. They won’t be happy until we have another Civil War.
It does feel that they are deliberately driving this country that way.
It’s been going on for over a century. The Democrat Attorney General under Wilson, A. Mitchell Palmer, launched raids on campuses against radical leftists. Frankly, I think it’s long overdue for another. The saying goes, you wouldn’t want Nazis teaching your children, so why are we allowing Communists to (or folks with an ideology not too far afield from Naziism, blaming Jews and Israel for all manner and sorts of problems) ?
