Wow, that’s just awesome! Boerner saved the very long letters his ‘friend’ wrote him for THIRTY years. Kind of like the photographer from Occidental saved the black/white photo shoot of Barry the Stoner for three decades.

Hard to believe, and even harder to prove the letter isn't legit. I was cleaning out some paperwork this morning, and found letters from a friend written during her trip to Europe in 1972. It's quite possible.

That zero was in Chicago in 1985 is common knowledge. That he had a position as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Chicago is also well known. That makes sense; Stanley Ann's uncle Charles T Payne had been attached to that university since the very early sixties, until his retirement.

Charles and Melanie Payne lived in Hyde Park...as did a number of other familiar names...one of which was David Axelrod
