Rand Paul warned about the the infringement of Drones and the American's privacy SEVERAL years ago. Also many other over-stepping areas of our government. He is an avid fighter for the 5Th Amendment!
He has been painted as a Jerk because he's only heard when it touches a nerve. That's my opinion of him. He's good for checks and balances.
Our President has invited him for a round of golf, a couple of times while in office. He has our President's ear.

Paul isn’t all bad, by any means. I just do not trust him. He often says good things and votes well. But anyone with overweening personal ambition generates distrust in me.
