I too read that article and my pastor is aware of it as well. We feel this is one of the most horrendous indicaters that we are living in end times aside from prophecy based events. This is an added incentive to us to witness as never before, speak the truth of the gospel daily to everyone. The very idea that someone could take my faith is demoralizing, sick and twisted.

Somehow, God is Sovereign ... and in behalf of every authentic believer--however HE works that out in each case.
We do think such tech gives us some outside boundary as to when things have to climax before that boundary is reached.
God is fiercely protective of FREEWILL--at least freewill as perceived from the individual's perspective and in terms of contingencies facing each individual.
We cannot imagine He'd allow freewill to be totally obliterated for individuals. There'd be no point for the drama/play/game to continue at that point.
Christ died for souls able to choose Him and His Salvation.
True organic robots would be beyond such a choice.
We can't imagine God will allow that point to be reached. Therefore, the final curtain, Armageddon, must occur before that point. Therefore, The Great Tribulation must occur before that point. Evidently The Rapture must occur even earlier than or no later than the beginning instant of the Great Tribulation.
