Id take an axe handle to them dogs....
I’d take a 45 caliber 1911 to them dogs.
Poor kid. I think both dogs should be euthanized.
I would have killed both dogs on the spot
In a second
In fact if they got anywhere near my kid they would have their face kicked in as I have done before
No zero tolerance for idiot dogs and their stupid loser owners
I’m a biker. Any vicious dog tries anything with me I put the fear of God in him quick
He don’t listen it’s broken jaw time
I don’t give a flying fig whatbghe stupid owner thinks. At all
“Death to all pit bulls.”
I cannot go that far. They are a very real and fast-growing problem, but I can’t yet say that they do not have a legal and-or positive use, somehow. They are dangerous, destructive, and prolific - and yet some of them are very beautiful dogs. The happy, goofy, “clown dog” aspect is so charming and funny, that it is easy to ignore the other side of the coin, until it hits. This is what makes them so dangerous . . .
And some of the “bulldog” types have been bred to remove the attack personality aspects, such as the English Bulldog, for the most part. The “Spuds McKenzie” dog, not so much. I am still trying to sort out the “American Bulldog” types, mostly white, as opposed to the pit bull owners trying saying that they have an “American Bulldog” (as opposed to the ubiquitous “Lab-Mix”, which is what they get called if there is the slightest chance someone will not call them on it.)
I just read what I wrote, and then remembered that I find a tank of Piranha beautiful, too.
If a dog attacks a human, the dog’s owner should be put down.
Better stick to one topic, and one aspect thereof. There are more than enough beautiful-but-harmful things in this world. No more late night posting.
You are into instant gratification.
I take pride in my work and to do it right takes time...
Well, that’s almost Biblical (Old Testament) but I don’t think it’s practical. Or did you mean the dog?
????
But...LOL...
Did you also think that I am Chet99?
I’m not.
Really and truly, and for the record, everyone, I am not Chet99.
I have no idea.
I just thought the whole interaction between you was funny and wondered what the catalyst was???
Perfect post but must add. Pits have been bred for violence. They really need to be put down, all of them. I am a dog lover and have two huge loving mutts of very mixed genes. They are both rescue dogs. They just wanted to go home to a place that wanted them and loved them. They are all love and not the least bit aggressive. However if someone attacked me or my wife they would lay down their lives for us.
I believe that in WA state, it is quite legal to kill stray animals attacking your livestock. I don’t think that’s complete, and I am not a lawyer, and cannot give advice, but I did look it up last year, and believe that’s what it said.
Looks like the father had enough to do rescuing his son, secured and medically attended to, at the time. But you have an extremely valid point; and a lot of the owners are moving and hiding the dogs after they have attacked someone. The latest occurrence of dog-hiding I found was in New Mexico last week, I think.
The huge problem is that so often “ . . they came out of nowhere . . .”.
This is extreme predator behavior.
Yes, dogs do reflect the attitude of their owner. I have no doubt about that.If the owner likes and respect cats, the dog will also, if the owner is a psycho there is a good chance the dog will be too.Dogs will go out of their way to please his master, that is a fact.
When you hear of a dog that turned on his owner, such as that lady that was killed by two of her dogs, she was never their master, especially true when it comes to any breed of terrier.
Pits have been bred for violence.
Which was my vets point. People who seek out pits to raise, want to exert power and dominance, add an aggressive fighting dog to that personality and it is a recipe for disaster.
Both dogs should have been put down and the owner charged with reckless endangerment—or whatever appropriate.
The little boy will forever be disfigured for the selfishness and stupidity of yet another pitbull owner.
Excellent analysis. The vet just decided to ignore the on-line attacks, allowed his clients to defend him, and it just went away. Of course, Yelp does not allow you to comment or defend yourself, so that remains. He is rejoicing because now the pit bullies won’t come to him!!
Similar thing happened to a friend’s mother.
She was sitting by the Christmas tree, opening a gift, when their “pure bred” pit, which they’d had for 5 years, suddenly lunged at her and locked it’s jaws on her face.
Her husband had to nearly beat the dog to death to get it off, and her mother ended up needing over 100 stitches, and had a puncture in her skull, near her temple.
Her brother came over and “removed” the animal while the family was at the hospital.
