you’re absolutely right. if Harry actually believes that Michelle and Barack are true friends, he is slightly deluded. B/M like to associate with the elites and royals to show how important they are, and the circles they travel in. they probably hoped to comp free accommodations with the royal family somewhere. and if the obamanations were invited that would off course have to include michelle’s mum, the daughters and probably their master, valjar.

It is rather strange for any couple to be unable to invite someone to their own wedding, but that’s life in the Royal Family.
p.s. If he is really so angry it may be less about the Obamas than the fact that as a junior prince his wedding has been relegated to the “not an affair of state” category and all the heavy political figures are being left out. Not that I would want them if it were MY wedding, but it may be a stark reminder of his marginal Royal standing.
