We had made a verb out of it - “to fisk” meaning to stick one’s nose where it didn’t belong and getting the crap beaten out of one, literally or figuratively. Oh, those old Gulf War II days, fun times on Free Republic. I watched TV in those days. Had Fox on all the time, watching the feeds.
