Right. Trusted source for "Clinton is at the airport, plans to meet with Lynch" or something that allows that inference.

I read that camp Clinton was livid that their security plans (cough cough) were revealed.

Nit-pick (you’re probably used to that from me):

Trusted source: someone who can be counted on to be accurate and has been so in the past.

Mole: Long-term operative inserted into position while actually working for the opposition.

Trusted source is ad hoc/occasional.
Mole is long-term.
I find *mole* to be more nefarious.
