With the war in Syria, Iran has completed the land bridge needed to rush armies at Israel from Iran.

Not for nuthin...but was it really a hindrance before? Its not like getting stuff the Hezbollah seemed to be an issue.
What the Syrian war DID do is give the Hezzie and IRG troops some well needed experience.
Think of it as analogous to the Spanish Civil War for Germany and Italy. Kind of a dress rehearsal for the real show.
