Again?
The Nye County sheriff also shared the news of Art Bells death on Twitter:
On Twitter, Bells last tweet was a retweet about UFOs. On Facebook, where he frequently posted photos of his family, Bell posted on April 12: Download the free TuneIn app to listen LIVE FREE starting at 9 PM Pacific time!
On April 9, 2018, Bell seemed in typical form on his Facebook page, writing, The FBI has just Raided the office of the Presidents Lawyer. This is pretty serious stuff and I want to say again if the hate of Trump continues to be manifested by investigating everything Trump has ever done they will get him on something eventually. If you tear anybodys life apart and look at every little thing they have ever done, you can get them.
You’re right, an adventure on those dark, long stretches in the middle of no where.
RIP
He certainly was better than the current phony.

While I thought most of what Art Bell said was out of this world and unbelievable, he did it with confidence and a passion that earns my respect.
Depending on which astral route Art is taking,
Evelyn Paglini (The white Witch) may be there waiting for him. She had the most disturbing cackle of a laugh.
That sucks. He was pretty awesome at his peak. I occasionally listen to Noory but he’s not the same.
He engaged the human imagination when it was most susceptible to new thought pathways.
He filled a very special niche in the world of American radio.
Now he is engaging the Great Mystery at first hand.
God be with you, Art.
Bell has NOT died, he merely was abducted by aliens.
Rip Art... it gets lonesome on these highways.
As a long-time listener you could sometimes pick out when he thought his guest was quite full of it, but the casual listener would not have noticed, as he was almost invariably polite, and a gentleman. There is something to be said for that, especially today when incivility seems to rule more often than not.
God bless you Mr. Bell, and my sincere hope is that you will be reunited with your wife who preceded you to the great final unknown.
I feel for his young daughter.....she is way to young to be saying good by to dad.
SK RIP
The only thing that compared was watching Unsolved Mysteries alone at night with their creepy theme music and Robert Stacks voice!!
Also the voice of the guy on the alerts from the National Weather service during inclament weather were spooky for me as a kid.
I really hate this. I just knew he would make a comeback. RIP Best Story Teller (as we would call him in the south) many nights I couldn’t wait to hear him every night...
Sounds as if he was wandering in the desert and died? No, he died in his home and his home is in the desert.
I’d been listening to Art Bell’s show before Katrina, but thatpost Katrina week or two of nothing to watch on tv (power was out)and nothing to do late night, I really enjoyed his radio show. I like George Noory ok and listen some, but those nights in the dark after that mighty hurricane bonded us although I know that’s simplistic to say. Gave me a idea of what the world was before TV but with a edgy side. Also gave me a idea of what a post worldwide disaster would be like with waiting for a rebel station to come on and throw the truth out when only pablum spewed from the official stations, as our tv news is mostly like now.
I was kind of hoping that if he had some lead time before dying, he would arrange to “disappear” instead, leaving behind an incredible assortment of “evidence” to make it appear something very peculiar had happened, like he was abducted by a UFO.
