I actually feel bad for Laura and her buddy, the retired Colonel with the bad toupee. Seb Gorka ripped them each a new one tonight. Hopefully Laura will think a little before spouting off.

How many Kennedys does it take to change a light bulb?
Two.
One to hold the light bulb, the other to drink whisky until the room starts to spin.

I canceled my Lib Mut auto insurance on the spot the other day. I am not delighted about going back to Buffett/GEICO but they are definitely easy to deal with. And about $20/mo cheaper.

I started working at Ace Hardware last year and hope to continue for 5 more years when I can retire. It’s a job. The owners of my store are Republicans. I hope the public doesn’t turn on us.

The shooting took place in the freshman, Hoggster was in another building. He was never in danger.

Yup. Typical, “me too,” mass hysteria sheep. These stupid CEOs should go back to the mailroom.

I genuinely wish that I could feel the same way, scotti. I honestly believe that, as a single mother of three young children, she simply has too many professional irons-in-the-fire.

My local ace is run by republicans. I would say most of the people who work there are. mostly Retired guys and girls and a few younger folks. They like to hire high school kids in the summer. Good people.

I didn’t realize ACE had pulled their advertising . . . I guess I will continue shopping now. Whoever made the decision to withdraw “without the facts” needs to be FIRED.

Ace figured out the relatively small number of Metrosexuals demanding that they pull their ads are people who don’t know which end of a screwdriver to hold - while their customer base STRONGLY supports the Second Amendment, and is SICK of Camera Hogg.

” Rush survived, and when the brouhaha fizzled, many of these former sponsors wanted to come back. However, Rush told them to go jump in the lake, and I don’t believe any of them ever returned.”

Rush had many other sponsors ready to take the place of the ones who dropped him’, so he simply REPLACED them. His strategy of locking out fair-weather sponsors that jump ship the first time a liberal shrieks is excellent, as it sends a REAL CLEAR MESSAGE to others who might try a stunt like that.

...and, if you note, no one even talks anymore about boycotting Rush, even though he’s been tougher on Camera Hogg than even Laura. The Left knows a ‘boycott’ of Rush is now futile - Rush’s current sponsors are not about to leave him.

I delivered pizza into the wee hours for years in a campus neighborhood. Most of the time, the houses did not have working porch lights. Sometimes the people would apologize for the nonworking lights and always conclude their apology with the statement, "our landlord sucks, he never fixes anything."

I don't believe most of these people understood that the bulb had burned out. I think they really believed that the light needed to be "fixed" and simply had no idea how to go about doing that.

I used to work at a apartment complex that was leased to the military for housing. Those people sometimes got mad when we told them we did not provide light bulbs (there was a big lots across the street and other stores). Inevitably we would get calls about light fixtures not working. Too many folks were buying 100 watt bulbs and burning up their fixtures. When people moved out we would fix up the apartments they left. A lot of them had over half the bulbs burned out. The service resembles the population. I was in the service and I can tell you the average young Joe or Jill has very little in the way of basic life skills and the service doesn’t teach you that. Watching these young folks do their laundry was a hoot.
