While all of that proceeds, POTUS commands an evolving political cadre succesfully advancing the main agenda.

Our FRiends are bitter and cynical and think us dupes for being optimistic based on Q, who they believe to be a shadow at best, or, more likely, a puppetmaster. Most of them want to abandon the ME and many would like to personally go hunting for domestic traitors and invaders. Others are prepped and bunkered for Armageddon.
They retain the Cold War mindset and thereby grant power to the cabal. Fed up, they’re willing to entertain a hot CWII.
