That's one thing that often wins in pursuits against the cops. Dirt bikes are fast, can go nearly anywhere, no license plates and the riders face/ID is often covered by helmet etc.

In fact If I were going to rob a bank, a dirt bike for a getaway vehicle would likely do very well. ☺

I really like dirt bikes. Especially the vintage bikes. If States provided more places for them to ride just maybe this might not happen as often as it does.

The cops in Brazil don’t play. They ride all kinds of different bikes to keep these scumbags in order. The Brazilian cops also have this bad habit of shooting them when they catch them.
