. I used to believe that Cruz was the better choice of the two, but now that i’ve seen how well Trump fights, I am very glad that he won the primary and the election.

I believe that had we nominated Cruz, we would have lost the election. We would have gotten Hitlery.

I was a strong Cruz supporter. However, with hindsight it's a very good thing that Trump won the primaries. I don't think Cruz could have beaten Hilary.
The other thing is, Trump has governed more as a conservative than any Republican president in my life time, even Reagan. Trump's judicial nominations are by far the most conservative ever. And Trump has fought for the border wall and taken down more job killing EPA and other regulations than any president in history. Right now, I'd eagerly take a bullet for the guy.
