When I was in ,a long time ago it feels like, STA platoon was using the Remington heavy barrel M40 and we had the m16a1 then the m16a2. Times have changed.

The USAF smokes through that every hour of the day with the F-35 and other screwed up programs.
This is why such programs need curtailed, it robs the other departments of needed weapon systems and supplies.
