We planted our pomegranate about 6-7 yrs ago. Last 3 yrs we’ve had it pretty with blossoms but only gotten 3-5 fruit. Birds eat a lot. All I’ve done is put some compost around a couple of times a year and keep it watered. My aunt and uncle had a hedge of them around their back yard that was full of fruit unless we had a late freeze or bad drought. I don’t know how old your pomegranates are but it appears to me they need to be mature to bare well. I’ve harvested, canned jelly and frozen juice off my aunt and uncle’s for over 30 years but their place was sold 2 years ago so I’m hoping mine does better this year. Hubby said he’s buying me fruit tree netting.

Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you. Compost is my only addition. Since my relatives never tried to harvest they didn’t fertilize at all.
