Okay, I've watched this convo for a while and know absolutely nothing about it. So let me chime in. Hahaha.

Maybe an airplane cannot be "hacked". But can it be "jammed?"

I could swear Tom Clancy explained something like that in one of his books when India and China went to war or something. Or was it an Andrew Card book. Anyway. Is there technology that could disable electronic systems from the ground or nearby that would cause a plane to malfunction or go off kilter at just the right time (takeoff/landing) to cause a crash?

To me, the ignorant layman, that seems elementary and easily doable. Me knowing zippo about such things and all.
