Saw this on Wikipedia:

ESPN (originally an initialism for Entertainment and Sports Programming Network) is a U.S.-based global cable and satellite sports television channel owned by ESPN Inc., a joint venture owned by The Walt Disney Company (80%) and Hearst Communications (20%). The company was founded in 1979 by Bill Rasmussen along with his son SCOTT RASMUSSEN and Ed Egan.

Never knew that about Scott Rasmussen. ESPN should commision him to do a poll about how well their SJW crap is going over.

New ESPN President James Pitaro may pull the plug on Get Up! quickly if ratings don't improve.

To think that someone believes Greenberg and Michele Beatle are worth $5 million each is just laughable.

We stopped watching Mike and Mike when Greenberg became more and more insufferable so I hadn’t realized the back story on their split.

And yet Kieth Olberman is back on ESPN in the afternoon. I always change channels when he shows up.

At Disney there’s a new sheriff in town. As more and more studio heads stepped into the lead, starting with Mike Eisner in 1984 when the Bass family bought the controlling stock, the theory of family entertainment was pushed aside and making money was nudged to the forefront.

But with this was a different theory of what Disney entertainment was. Eisner got them into the political ring while hiding behind Touchstone with movies like Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1985) to start leading to increased output with Good Morning, Vietnam (1987) and Dead Poets Society (1989). All were message films that were inconsistent with the Disney family oriented film. They still put them out with Who Framed Roger Rabbit in 1988, The Little Mermaid (1989), Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992) and The Lion King (1994). But they were changing to a political machine at that time.

I don’t know why anyone would watch and ESPN program in any jurisdiction. They are inferior and incompetent.

Maybe ESPN should contact those advertisers who fled Laura Ingraham’s show as they love far left politically correct shows. Someone has to pay those stupid salaries

Correct. Ratings dont count, unless they vanish entirely. These are now all just propaganda platforms for hire, not the businesses they started out as.

Yes, but that doesn't work if no one is watching!

I am also glad to see it hurt the ratings of First Take as well.

Max Kellerman is a commie bastard.

Yes, sports were a ‘safe zone’.

Maybe if they talked only about sports the ratings would go up : )

If they want ratings to go up, they should replace Greenberg with Olbermann. I would regularly tune-in when he was on CNBC or Current whenever the Left was having a bad day. The spectacle of watching his head explode was great entertainment.
