Mark Levin Muellers Coming Impeachment Charade
That part about the no-knock raid of Manafords house at 5:00AM. A week before meuller had authorization, to expand his investigation, should get Manaford off. I’m not a lawyer, but I did sleep with a beautiful woman last night.
President Trump lets this investigation farce continue to fester. Someday he will wish he hadnt.
Not being a lawyer is a pretty good recommendation. Oh and you might oughta make sleeping with a beautiful woman a habit too. When you got that going for you who needs a law degree?
When, oh when are we going to demand an accounting of how much of our money Mueller has flushed down the sewer on this fraud scheme?
Why does no one ever ask that question?
In a parliamentary system, the Democrats would be clamoring for a vote of no confidence. And they would have every right to do so; that's the way parliamentary systems work. We don't have that mechanism, so the dems are trying to manufacture a crime. If they establish the precedent, future presidents are likely to face this routinely whenever the other party has control of the House.
Some of the talking heads should raise the obvious hypothetical. Suppose Trump is succeeded by a Democrat. On the way out the door, Trump can appoint a special counsel to investigate the new president concerning "all matters" pertaining to whatever seems timely, and to prosecute any violations of law that he might find. This would be an open ended fishing expedition. And any attempt to fight back, including appeals to the court of public opinion, would be deemed criminal "obstruction." Is that really the game we want to start playing?
You seem to forget that we’re talking about spineless Republicans. They would do no such thing to a Democrat president.
bttt
I agree. I used to defend the Republicans when Bush was in office, but then I finally realized what a Deep State operator that he is. He didn’t say a word against Obama but had opened his pie hole numerous times against Trump. That tells me all I need to know.
Years ago, I saw the two parties characterized in this way: the Democrats are the "dishonest party", and the Republicans are the "stupid party". I think that pretty much holds true (although there are obviously liars on both sides of the aisle)...
“The only difference is that the Republicans were bigger liars than the Democrats.”
Ha! You hit the nail on the head!
“...but I did sleep with a beautiful woman last night.”
So you are admitting you are a lesbian?
“Bush didnt say a word against Obama but had opened his pie hole numerous times against Trump. That tells me all I need to know.”
Breitbart has the whole interview video and transcript. The important part is this:
Levin: “The official position of the United States Department of Justice under Democrat administration and Republican administration was set out by the Office of Legal Counsel. Thats the constitutional office within the Department of Justice in two memoranda.
“And this memoranda says the president of the United States cannot be indicted while he is in office. Cannot be indicted while he is in office. So he cant be a criminal target. The president of the United States cant be a criminal target because he cant be indicted.
“Thats the official position of Mr. Muellers bosses over there at the Department of Justice. Thats number one. Number two, I keep hearing well, but what if he is subpoenaed to appear before the grand jury? Subpoenaed to appear before the grand jury.
“Well, then you go to the federal judge, and you say to the federal judge your honor, my client cant be indicted. That is the position of his bosses so why is he going in front of a federal grand jury? What we need him as a witness. A witness to what? What criminal statute, or what criminal violation do you think he was a witness to that he needs to testify to?
“Well, we think he may have committed obstruction. And even though we may not charge him excuse me, Mr. Mueller. This is a criminal grand jury. This isnt being done so you can issue your report. So there are many constitutional obstacles of course to this argument that the president obstructed justice.
“So firing a subordinate thats obstructing justice? Thats absurd. If thats obstructing justice then when Mr. Mueller fired Mr. Strzok, maybe thats obstruction of justice, too, interfering with an investigation.”
**BTW
Sarah Palin will be Levin’s guest on Life Liberty & Levin Sunday PM
