Your reply; soon as you open the door, you can tell cat owners by the box stench

THAT'S NOT TRUE. IF YOU SMELL A 'STENCH' IT IS BECAUSE THE CAT OWNER IS TOO LAZY TO KEEP THE BOX CLEAN. THERE ARE DEODORIZING LITTER ON THE MARKET, AND A BOX MUST BE SCOOPED DAILY. AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH, WASH THE BOX THROUGHLY WITH SOAP AND FINISH UP WITH CLOROX. RINSE THROUGHLY.
IF A CAT TAKES TO GOING OUTSIDE THE BOX, IT IS SICK. TAKE IT TO THE VET. THEY WILL ALSO 'HIDE' WHEN SICK.
WE HAVE FOUR INSIDERS, INCLUDING A BEAUTIFUL SILVER CHINCILLA PERSIAN AND A BENGAL. NOT A SINGLE PERSON WHO HAS EVER ENTERED OUR HOME HAS MENTIONED AN ODOR. THIS INCLUDES RELATIVES WHO WOULD BE HONEST- SOME WHO DISLIKE CATS. (SEE OUR COLLECTION ON MY BIO PAGE)
Cats don't need walking, and you can leave them alone and go away for several days and they're fine. They don't need bathing. They bathe themselves.
Don't get me wrong. I dearly love dogs. We have a wonderful Yorkie and a Lab. It just irks me that every time someone mentions a cat in a post, all the 'cat haters; (who have probably never really come to know a cat), start with the nasty remarks.
They're wonderful, loving, amusing, intelligent animals.
Bye bye. Have a nice evening
And by the way, cats are now the most popular pet in the U.S BY FAR.
Dogs pee and poop outside and don't require us to clean up their fecal matter.
Seriously, you enjoy cleaning up after your filthy beast?
