I wonder if the poles were put in to anchor the tarp as attachment points. The court is not a tennis court but would look like it from above. No poles for a net and a bit on the hilly side for a real court.

I see a net shadow. If it as you say, is quite a bit of effort to hide something from view above, that could be hidden with simple landscaping.

I'm not exactly sure why the image has so much distortion from flat, but notice all the distortion breaks along straight lines. I think this is just the way GE composes images zoomed in that close.

I'm just sharing my impression and opinion, and have no intention to dissuade you from yours. Take my impression and throw it away or fold it in as you see fit.
