A number of years ago, a microbiologist working on epidemics went to a convention in Memphis, and his car was found abandoned on one of the bridges across the Mississippi. They found his body months later down by New Orleans.

Another microbiologist died when his air lock malfunctioned and he suffocated on nitrogen.

Somebody is cleaning house.
