These combinations of events would normally incur some type of safety stand down, if that doesn’t ensue, it would indicated these losses are occuring under something more operational in nature eh?

Not necessarily. Different aircraft and conditions. If there was a common thread, flat-hatting, air shows, etc, yes there probably would have been by now. Fricking Navy loves them.

Unfortunately, Harriers and 53s crashing is not unusual. If the crews were trying to regain currency after a long flight time layoff it is even less unusual.
