Reminds of Kendry Morales breaking his leg celebrating a walk-off grand slam.
Dislocated, not broken, as the headline implies. Still, pretty gruesome. Would be surprised if hes able to play tomorrow.
Nicklaus’ grandson, Gary GT Nicklaus, Jr., son of Gary
Nicklaus, was caddying for his legendary grandfather when he
went to the tee box to hit a shot of his own. The 15-year-old
competitive golfer hit a great shot on the 135-yard hole, and
he did the club twirl that lets you know it’s a good shot.

Sounds like that NFL kicker who injured himself celebrating a field goal.
Dilly Dilly!
Tony Finau is currently #8 on FedEx Cup points.
His family is Samoan, but he grew up in Utah, and he is a Mormon.
Thanks for the post; gif; link.
Playing a single round at Augusta requires six-seven miles of walking up and down hills, plus hitting shots from all types of lies while putting extra pressure on feet and ankles, while standing for five-plus hours. I’ve broken and sprained ankles but never dislocated one—but I’d estimate his chances of finishing four full rounds at zero. Still, if this is a trick ankle which he dislocates frequently, as is implied by him popping it right back in, you never know—enough ice and analgesics might pull him through.
“It’s in the hole!”
the UK Sun says he popped it back into place https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/golf/5976633/tony-finau-ankle-masters-hole-in-one-pops-joint-back/
MRI tomorrow morning - decision will be made after that. Probably not too likely he will play. Wish they had put out a warning before they did the replay! Pretty gruesome twist.
