Fox Sports 1 Undisputed co-host Skip Bayless reacted to Villanova defeating Michigan Monday night 79-62, led by Donte DiVincenzo and his 31 points off the bench.
Bayless said he has watched Villanova this year and DiVincenzo always catches his eye.
[W]hy doesnt [DiVincenzo] get any draft buzz? Bayless asked. Why isnt anybody talking about Donte DiVincenzo as a potential lottery pick? And theres one reason and only one reason hes white. Its as simple as that. Hes not black. And, again, Im not saying this is wrong or bad. Its just it. Its just a fact.

The white guy was the hero.
In Europe, teams play no more than two games per week during the regular season and there is great coaching and lots of work on fundamentals in the youth programs.
Teamwork is highly valued and discipline is demanded.
In the U.S., AAU ball is all about individual players and forget fundamentals. AAU is all about money and selling players to college coaches.
The NBA has become much more of a team first game, and not just individual players. You dont see behavior and criminal conduct problems with foreign players.
As for this Villanova player, the lack of interest has nothing to do with race. He is an excellent college player, but does not have NBA speed and quickness.
It’s not odd at all. The Left, first and foremost, will ALWAYS destroy language. They use words that are reasonable, like equality or non discrimination, and redefine them to suit their agenda. The goal posts are always moving when dealing with communists.
Silly boy, it’s the Negro B’ball Ass.
Surprised Skip called it.
He is talking about media buzz, not teams per se. As even Limbaugh has noted, sports so-called journalists are even more extreme leftists than the rest.
I gave up on NBA, and gave up season tickets, after media blamed Nelson and Carlisimo for sins of Webber and Sprewell, calling the white coaches racist.
“Blacks” are diminishing themselves from basketball and baseball where foreign players are rising. The NFL is what it is.
I think Donte DiVincenzo will likely stay one more year at Villanova and get his degree before joining the NBA.
