I’m in the same boat for different reasons.
My Wife is five feet tall. I think we are wearing out the Power Driver’s Seat in her Car. It goes from one extreme to the other.
When I fly, the seat back is way too short. My Head is above the top of the seat. I can’t rest my head. My Wife is as comfortable as a bug in a rug while my neck is killing me.
I do actually feel for you.
When I flew my feet didn’t reach the ground on the standard cattle class seats. By the time we got to destination my legs would be asleep/numb.
My feet seldom reach the ground in normal seating configurations anywhere like restaurants, doctors offices, church, etc.
Not something I’ve chosen to be, ie, short.
Fat, sure, big choice there. Better than I was though with a BMI of 50 or so then. I’m just over the line in obese at 31 now. Because I CHOSE to alter my behavior. I didn’t demand my doctor change her waiting room seats because I was simply wedged in at a BMI of 50. I did research and figured out what eating plan works for me. I’d LOVE to lose more weight but right now my diabetes is totally in check so I’m happy with that..
No one is helping the obese when they accomodate obesity. It’s no different than enabling a drug addict.
