What is Sessions SPECIFICALLY recused from?
Q
I have a general Question. I think Sessions is SPECIFICALLY and in writing legally recused from investigating the "Russia/Collusion" investigation. I also am somewhat aware that he STATED to Congress the he would recuse himself from anything to do with Hillary/Emails, to what extent, I'm not sure.
My question is, does a statement to Congress under oath obligate him to legally recuse himself? And if not, did he put it in writing? Is he legally bound to recuse himself from all things Hillary? Especially when Hillary is attached to EVERYTHING (or so it would seem.)
I sure hope Q is telling us that Sessions is NOT recused from anything but the Collusion/Election deal, of which we all know now is not squat.
Anyway. Please discuss so I may better understand. :)
There is really no "legal/statutory" standard. It's all ethical or rules based. Appointees routinely renege of "promises made" under oath, in confirmation.
I see no way Sessions would personally involve himself in going after Hillary or the Clinton Foundation. But that should be okay - or else we're in a situation where literally only ONE person in all of DOJ would be willing to go after crimes there.
Sessions recused himself from anything to do with Russia/Collusion and election matters.
He must refuse himself from any case he could be called as a witness
