I do agree about Sessions mode of operation. We never heard from him in the Senate, until he had something to say and then he roared with facts (no small thanks to hyper researcher, the excellent Steven Miller) and leave a mark on the opposition.
I just cant for the life of me figure out why he waited so long to step up and speak out. Hope one day he writes a book. Dying to know what happened that caused him to finally come out and call a shot or two.
If Rosenstein were still regularly taking the mic, I would still be thinking he had Jeff in the basement, but the last we heard from Robby was his public statement about his own recusal, should Mueller investigate FISA shenanigans, and the signatories thereof. (Comey, Yates and Rosenstein.)
That right there could be behind Jeff appointing Huber. He may have reason to believe Mueller would never go there, just in order to keep RR in the big chair and Jeff in the basement. Heck, I dunno. Just that... where did Jeffs voice come from, all of a sudden? ( Rhetorical question as I dont want to exhaust you.)
A number of letters from Congress, with specific requests for information that more or less rang of oversight.
Huber was given this assignment no later than early November last year.
