My 8th grade teacher (nun) would have cracked me in the back of the head with the hickory pointer while telling me “Quick-ly” in a thick Irish brogue. That was 56 years ago, and I don’t take to kindly to corrections in grammar. I know the correct forms but fast thumb typing on a smart phone I sometimes truncate things for expedience.
When I die I’m going to heaven.....cause I spent 8th grade in hell.

On my phone 'quickly' is shorter than 'too quick'.
But then I have one of those newfangled Galaxies.
