The Star Wars primary story line is dead to me. The last 2 installments were nails in the coffin. I’ll take Rogue One offshoots, though.

My new favorite trilogy is -

#3 "Revenge of the Sith"

"Rogue One"

#4 "A New Hope".

While "Empire" was a better movie, these three work the best together, IMO.

Saw #7 in the theater. Meh. Didn't bother with #8. Likely will skip #9 too. And this new "Solo" movie? Nothing new here, just red meat for fans of the character.

Again, all in my opinion...

I liked "Awakens" - it was just a remake of the original, with the special effects updated 40 years worth and the acting improved from ridiculous to adequate.
