Just yesterday I read an article with the title, “speedometer shows straight couple were driving 1000000000 mph when they went over a cliff”. NOT. So weird they would put lesbian in the title as if that makes any difference that they are dead. I wonder if gays and lesbians like this emphasis. I am sure some do but I bet the majority hate it.

I wonder if they were going ninety when they launched, or if she kept pressing the gas pedal when they were airborne, speeding up the wheels. Wiley Coyote would have done that.

OR the headline could have said two white lesbians who adopted six children of color ... lots of room to play with the headline. Or maybe two lesbians who were being investigated by WA State CPS??

This is from a UK paper, so who knows why they chose to put their sexual orientation in, but it does make one wonder: if a hetero couple who was under investigation by CPS would have had their children with them or, in that case if the children would have been taken away, at least until matters were settled in the courts?
